Workshop with Jenna
Glatzer
October 1-3, 2004
** Less than one week away! Last
chance to sign up!
Omega Institute
Rhinebeck, New York
Three Days.
No Pressures. No
Laundry. Just Writing!
This October,
take a little trip to a peaceful oasis and hang out with best-selling
author Jenna Glatzer and other fellow writers at the Omega Institute
in Rhinebeck, NY. Toss
your cares to the wind and set your muse free during the Outwitting
Writer’s Block creative writing workshop. We’ll
help you knock down that internal critic and rediscover the pure joy
of writing. The
writers' workshop blends lecture, Q&A, and writing exercises guaranteed
to get the ink flowing in a setting filled with gardens, lakes, and wooded trails. And
we hear the food's mighty tasty, too!
You're
welcome here whether your goal is to write professionally, use writing as therapy, compose a memoir for your family,
or
just have fun with words.
Take
a three-day vacation with me and find your voice in an intimate and
nurturing atmosphere. You
can pick my brain about anything you want.
The
Omega Institute is the nation’s largest and most trusted holistic
education provider. After
class, you can go out on a rowboat, get a massage, enjoy the sauna,
participate in a yoga class, sit by the herb gardens, or swim in the
private beach. Housing
ranges from private cottages to dorms and camping.
Omega’s
lakeside campus is set on 140 acres of rolling hills and woodlands
in the Hudson River Valley, just two hours north of New York City.
There’s even a charter bus from New York City straight to
Omega.

Please
note: Spaces are limited. I want everyone to receive
one-on-one attention, so I have set a limit on enrollment.
Please don't wait until the last minute or we may be filled to
capacity, and I'd hate to lose anyone who genuinely wants to be
there.
I
am shaping this writing workshop around the writers' needs, so after
you sign up, please drop me a line and tell me a little about
yourself and what you'd most like to learn or work on.
Be
prepared to be a literary daredevil, write on the edge, delve deep
into your creative subconscious, knock down the psychological blocks
that are holding you back from your full writing potential, and come
away with new inspiration and new writer-friends!
The
writers' workshop begins on Friday night at 8:00 p.m. and ends on
Sunday at noon.
